Join Heart of the City to hear their top tips for getting started with responsible business and how implementing ESG / sustainability practices can help you win business. The session will include a focus on engaging your people; finding your focus; starting your journey to net zero; supporting your local community as well as measuring, evaluating and communication.
Heart of the City is a charity that helps small and medium sized businesses (SME) to have a positive impact on people, places and the planet through responsible business and sustainability. Through workshops, one-to-one support and expert mentoring, they help SMEs take their first steps towards making responsible business a meaningful part of their work.
Speaker Bio
Olivia works at Heart of the City, a non-profit which supports businesses on their sustainable and responsible business journey. She is the programme manager for ‘Foundations for a Responsible Business’.
Prior to Heart of the City she completed ‘On Purpose’ a leadership year focused on social and environmental impact where she did placements at Big Society Capital, the UK’s leading social impact-led investor, and Pinter, a beer start-up.
Before working with UK businesses, Olivia specialised in international development and was a civil servant for the UK Government’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
In her spare time she is a trustee of Plan International UK, and a befriender in her local council.
