About the event

During this presentation and panel discussion, the University of East London (UEL) will lead a conversation on the key skills gaps being faced by local businesses, and the support it, and other partner providers can deliver to boost business strength and overall productivity. These are clear priority areas identified in the UK Government’s Industrial Strategy 2035, and the Greater London Authority’s (GLA’s) London Growth Plan.

During the panel discussion employers, apprentices, and current learners undertaking Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training will talk about how their learning is benefiting them and their businesses to grow.

Additionally, the session will focus on Skills Bootcamps and Internships as models to develop talent pipelines from more diverse backgrounds, and the opportunities this brings for businesses in East London.
